    Weight loss pills aren't just not the best or not the healthiest way to lose weight, the problem with them is that they just don't work and are potentially dangerous. If you want to lose faster, you have to eat less and/or move more. But you can't lose weight faster than you body allows, and still keep your health (including lean body mass, energy, sanity and satiety). You need to learn how to be patient, because weight loss is a relatively slow process. And you need to aquire habits that you can stick to for the long haul. Maybe training your patience can be more important for your confidence than any weight loss can. If your diet is less than satisfactory today, eating better is almost certainly going to make you feel better, both mentally and physically, no matter if you lose weight or not.

    If there were miracle ways to lose weight and keep it off, none of us would be here. I understand you want to see results fast. It took more than a few weeks for you to gain enough weight that you decided to come to MFP. It's going to take a long time to get it off. The good news is there are so many people here who will help you and want to see you succeed. Take advice from people that have proven track records with healthy loss and you'll start to see results. Avoid those that want to "private message" you...they usually are pushing some method that is not a proven weight loss method and don't want others to call them out. My suggestion is that you go the "Getting Started" forum and click on the link to the most helpful topics. There are quite a few articles that will get you started off right.
