It doesn't for me. I have a horrible diet and lost plenty with it. If you don't enjoy the food you're eating, what's the point? Other posters above are right: it's mostly likely water weight.0 -

Methinks the 'cleaner weight' comment might be sarcasm.

Foods with high water content and fibre fill you up better for longer and get absorbed slowly. and eventually they leave your body peacefully and easily. If you do not go to the toilet every day that is a sign of low fibre & water content food. You will gain pseudo weight next day. It's nothing but lack of "regular defecation".
A potato stuffed with Scotch Bonnets is not leaving your body peacefully or easily.
And OP, it is water weight. Normal for most people.

I can make jams with them and some soups, otherwise, it is a disaster. disaster=pillow, blanket, cold bathroom floor, fan, and scented candles.

What does that mean?0 -
Mmmmm chips. Or fries. Or crisps. Covering all international bases. Why is it not a thing to weigh a portion out though? I do it all the time if it's something that comes in a large package. I don't see it any differently to weighing my meat *shrugs*0

What Kind of extreme example is that? No one suggested consuming burning hot chillies. Boiled potato with some lentil soup is perfect though. or boiled potato with salad (no oil added) is also perfect.
A dish with hot chilies is an example of a food with high water content and fiber that will not necessarily "leave your body peacefully and easily."

not everyone goes to the toilet everyday. its normal for some not to go everyday(#2). doesnt mean you are not getting enough fiber. also doesnt mean it will leave your body peacefully and easily. everyone is different0
