    Distractions can only push you back if you let them. You need to make an effort to do this for yourself, you need to WORK for it. If you don't want to put in extra time and work to do it, then you don't want it bad enough.

    Are you restricting your calories too much? Maybe change your goal to .5lb a week so you can eat more & still make progress, even if it's slower. Are you trying to make too many changes at once? Make smaller changes, don't try to do everything at once. If you are trying to lose weight, concentrate on your calorie goals first. If you are trying to get more fit, slowly add more exercise in. There will never be a perfect time--you will always have distractions & other things happening. Don't let "all or nothing" thinking derail you.
