I'm counting calories so I wouldn't want to waste my food cals by adding it to my coffee, although a lot of non dairy creamers use coconut oil in them. Definitely for popcorn and baked sweet potatoes - just delicious!

Coconut oil is hydrogenated. Just sayin'.

Unrefined, or virgin, or pure coconut oil is not hydrogenated. Some refined coconut oil is hydrogenated, some isn't.

Even the refined is not necessarily hydrogenated. The melt point is different for the hydrogenated (turns liquid at 92°). Un hydrogenated coconut oil, whether refined or unrefined melts at 76°. Fractionated coconut oil stays liquid at any temperature (and really is not a good one to consume, it is better for body applications).
