How much did you lose the first 30 days?

I was just wondering how much most people manage to lose their first month or so. I was doing really great for about 2 weeks but it seems like im plateauing already which seems way to early for it barely being my first month :-( especially since I've been sticking to my diet fairly well.

I lost 10-15 pounds before I started on the myfitness pal. within 2 weeks i went from 207 to 198ish. Didnt pay much attention after that. Should lose weight faster probably because its all water weight.0

14 lbs. I started at 232 and am 5'5" -5'6".0

About 8 pounds, and I cheated by going a few hundred over my calorie limit a handful of times.0

You're not in a plateau until you've been maintaining for much longer than two weeks. Read, embrace, adjust.

My "starting" weight on1/1/2016 was 254. On 1/2/2016 I was 249. I think that is more accurate so I'm using that as my starting weight. As of 2/1/2016 I am 235.0 -
In the first month ... 4-5 kg.
Nothing at all in the first 10 days, then it just started falling off.
But I didn't just stick to my diet "fairly well" ... I stuck to it like a tenacious Jack Russell terrier. I was also exercising quite a bit and only eating about half my exercise calories back.0 -

20 pounds in the 13 months before joining MFP and about 6 since joining (3 weeks now). I do assume that rate will flatten out eventually.0

16 pounds eating around 1650 calories a day. My 4 week losses for the past 5 months are 16, 6, 8, 3, 3. After that first month I increased my calorie intake for a more sustainable loss, and did so again after the third month. This month looks like it will be around 4 pounds. My biggest weekly loss was my third, which was 6 pounds. I have about 15 pounds to go, and then I'm hitting the weights. I would have done so sooner, but I've been taking this winter to allow an arm injury to heal.

155 was my starting weight, I lost 7 pounds in the first month due to cutting carbs, so most was probably water weight. Now at 142-244 (fluctuations), I am losing about 0.25-0.5 per month. I am not particularly great at weighing my food. When I do, I will lose at 0.25-0.5 per week now.0
