Does sodium play a huge role in Fat Loss? Does pounding a bunch of water compensate for high sodium amounts?

    Not really if your kidneys are good it sorts itself out over time.

    Sodium doesn't effect fat loss. It can effect weight loss due to water retention. But if you are active, you need to have more sodium to help maintain a balance of electrolytes. And if you want to mitigate some of the effects of sodium, eat foods high in potassium and magnesium.

    Yes. I find when the fat in pork is salted to make bacon, that fat is lost much faster than other fats in the house such as canola oil.
