I just started do this. I like a nice hot tea in the morning and my treat is that I have a little sugar in it.

I love tea hot or cold. So many flavors. Yogi Mayan Cocoa Spice with milk & sugar is great afternoon pick me up.

Rooibos teas often don't need any sugar. Celestial Seasonings Madagascar Vanilla....mmmm

I drink tea pretty much every day with a little Truvia to take out the bitterness. Usually green tea. Sometimes herbal.

    Re: bitterness

Make sure your water isn't boiling when you brew green tea. Too hot water can make the tea more bitter.

I LOVE tea! The stronger the better. I like really flavorful ones that are so good you don't need to add sweetener to it.
  • I was drinking tea in the mornings before my dieting started. I like it with Milk but now don't want those calories so I haven't been

Do you count your tea towards your water consumption for the day? I drink probably 2-3 cups/day (instead of coffee) and haven't been counting it, but wonder whether I should? I tend to drink black tea (with milk & sweetener), so it's caffeinated if that makes a difference.
