From 650 to 345. A road to struggle.

Hello my name is Joe I had the sleeve 4 years ago my highest weight was 650 but drop to 547 on my first appointment. I then drop down 80 more pounds for the surgery but one day before surgery I blew my gallbladder and had emergency gallbladder surgery then I had to postpone my weight-loss surgery one more month. After awhile I drop to 345 and things turn for the worst. I Lost my home and me , mom and my rescue bichon dog were homeless . Depression kicked in and I lost focus eat only a little bit but due to money issues I stuck with Dollar menus and my weight started to creep back. I ballooned to 417 and went back to my surgeon for help. Anyway here I am ready for surgery number two in which they will do the complete bypass. I'm seeing a lovely nutritionist and last she weighed me I was 409 and she recommend this app which I use religiously . I stick to eating no more then 1,500 calories a day so judging by what it says I should be 377 now. I would attach a before and after photo but using the app is not allowing me.

To answer your question: The reason only focusing on the 1500 calories isn't working is because it has more to do with the types of nutrition you're giving your body and less on calories. Try swapping some of your processed meals for fresh food. Great job on you're progress!!! Best wishes.

Great job! I lost 40# last year and a half ago was around 245# then to205#, but let
Life events get me down. Long story. But now, finally got back to gym and never plan to stop being healthy again. It has helped my mood so much. Your success is a inspiration.

You look amazing! Keep up the good work! Congratulations on all of the weight you've already lost, that's such a huge accomplishment and something to be proud of.

Hopefully this app helps you reach your goal and keeps you motivated through any rough patches. I know it always helps me when I feel like giving up.

I also hope you and your family have found a home. It seems like you've been through a lot and I hope things have gotten better. Adorable puppy too!!

    You can do it!

Btw...i have a rescue bichon too. She's amazing!
My Lucy would totally let me put her in a carrier too, lol. Usually if Im wearing a hoodie, she burrows herself into it, so i tuck the bottom into my pants and carry her around the house tucked into my hoodie, lol!
