Is it normal for someone to get more wrinkly or have more lines once they lose some of the fat on their face? Can this result be minimized?
Thanks for the input.

I'll take no answer as a resounding no. Hey, that's good news! :-)0

it might for some. genetics seems to play a big part in who looks older after losing weight, and who doesn't.0

That's what botox is for.0

Yes it's normal, your face skin stretches round the fat, just like your body skin does so once you lose weight, the face skin has less filler and therefore more wrinkles.
I'm not sure you actually have more wrinkles than you would have done without the weight, just that you are used to them being less obvious.
You can use moisturisers and treatments to lessen the effects but ultimately, you need to give your skin time to shrink back and also accept the less filled version of yourself.
Personally, I prefer my new wrinklier face to my old fatter body any day!0 -
Depends. How old are you?0

Me at 27. Ugh. Bad pic.
Me at 42. 80 lbs lighter. Weight seems to add years. Hydrate your skin and exercise. I think I look younger now than I did then for sure.
From last halloween, at 41.
I have a little loose skin under my chin, but I think (and hope) that I"m the only one who is really cognizant of it...0 -

You look young for your age definitively, but much younger in the first picture.0 -
Losing weight gave me less of the "mom" look, which made me look younger. However, my wrinkles definitely gained definition.0

Depends on many things. Age, genetics, how fast the weight came off, how elastic your skin is.0

For some reason I always got mistaken for a 25-30 year old when I was 16 and overweight. Now that I'm 20 and healthy, people think I am 16. I have no idea why!0
