Maintenance for me, with my current workout schedule, averages about 3,800 calories a day.

When I was losing my weight I was eating about 2,400.

For stats, I'm 6'6" and around 245 lbs now.

    sw: 345
    cw: 265
    height: 5'11
    daily cals: 1200

I do not exercise. I started my body re-composition efforts on 1/17/2013. Once I get to 220 I will eat 1800 and begin stronglifts.

Last 30 days, I've eaten under 2000 calories twice. Chart says I've lost 3 pounds during that time. But everyone has different goals and bodies. Main point is there's nothing magical about 2000. Trust the method, work hard, and win.

How do you burn 4k per day if you don't mind me asking?

It varies. An hour-and-a-half of boxing, an hour of running plus an hour of kettlebell and I'm nearly at 5k. Easy days might be an hour of running, an hour of swimming and a walk, and that puts me at 4k. Unless my BodyMedia Link thingie is somehow lying...actually it frequently underestimates things like bicycling, but that's another story.

    I'm 6 feet, about 185. I'm currently eating 2600 a day.

Which should produce slow to moderate speed weight loss (TDEE estimate -10%)

i went from 236 to 179 in like 7 months eating an average of 1950 cals/day. When I started out I was eating 1700-1800 but then later on would eat more in the 2100-2300 range when I was running a fair distance.

6ft 2in and 182lbs... For cutting weight without losing strength I had to be on point with 2800 cals, 75g fat, 240g carbs and 200g protein.. Reverse dieting to find maintence by adding 25 carbs a week to my daily intake.. Up to 315g carbs a day and still losing weight lol

stick with a grams of carbohydrates budget, not a calorie budget. Calories have no importance for weight loss.

I'm around 300lbs, I've got about 155 to go give or take. My budget runs, ~1400 cals + eating back exercise, but I'm largely sedentary except for the exercise I log (systems and network admin.)

I think with someone who is fairly active such as your self that your budget looks reasonable. I've been steadily losing 2-4 lbs a week for several weeks now and until I dip under 1lb/week I won't change my diet much. Once I get around 260 I'd like to up my exercise game a good bit by adding back in activities i like such as roller skating and maybe learning to ski and such... by the end of summer I'd like to finish couch to 5k, but thats iffy... Right now, just moving is pain so my loss is mostly based on caloric deficit alone.

I weigh 61.8kg and am 176cm tall. Right now I am maintaining my weight at an average intake in excess of 3,000 calories a day. I primarily run (marathon training) and lift free weights (stronglifts 5x5), but I sometimes swim, cycle and do other things as well.

You need to eat at a deficit to TDEE if your goal is weight loss. The good news is that you can control your TDEE by modifying your activity level! If you want to eat more, just exercise more to compensate.
