The USDA number used is total sweetner production per capita, before spoilage and loss considerations. It is estimated at least 20% of that number is lost, not consumed.0

I've noticed some foods in the data base are incomplete and only show carbohydrate and sugar is not listed. Also micro-nutrients aren't listed at all for so many foods.0 -
