Afraid of getting burned out.

Hello,
My name is Victoria, I am 34 from Colorado. I have so far lost 22 lbs as of today. I am wanting to get some advice for motivation to continue, my goal weight is about 50 more lbs, my biggest challenge is that I am going to get burned out and lose the motivation to continue to my goal weight. Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Congrats! Sounds like you are on the right path! Don't "put the cart before the horse", as they say. Worrying about what might happen is a waste of your time and energy.

Motivation is great when you have it. But don't expect it. Your new lifestyle and diet will become habits and that's what keeps you going. Set small goals and enjoy your successes. If you start to feel down read the Success Stories thread here. Always inspiring!

    ^ This is perfect.

    To add to it:

Looking back at how far you've come is a huge reminder to keep going.

For me, it also helps to hop in the forums and answer a question for a newer member. Something I can answer - "Am I eating enough?" "What's BMR?" "Do I net or not?" etc.. For some reason, it helps me so much to go in and try to help others. It keeps me present.

Good luck!! And congratulations on the 22lbs lost!!!!
