Ugh, got home to meet the contractor only to have him reschedule for next week. Ah well, at least I'm already home. Let the weekend begin.

Well at least you get to hold your money a week longer.

So jealous. I would so much rather go to a baseball game than pick up groceries and the minions from school.

Don't be, at least what you are doing is common. This sunday I'm going to literally write out a "game plan" to figure out how to do standard domestic jobs so i can create a simple routine and keep myself organized and focused on what I need to do. I'm likely going to be overly stressed for something so easy. At least I will have the house to myself.

Good plan Matt. You will establish a routine and things will become normal again. To be honest, I need to plan better sometimes. I am usually doing *kitten* on a whim and a hot mess most of the time. People tell me they admire how well I have my *kitten* together. It's mostly smoke and mirrors. Fake it till I make it, is my motto. The house to myself would be a dream come true, if even for a couple hours.

Same problem, Aly - a real plan would be great but then I would feel like I have to follow it, and I probably wouldn't, and then just get more stressed!

My logic is have a simple checklist for whichever day I have free on the weekend and just hammer everything out in the morning. Week 1 will be perfect, I will udpate you guys on how week 2 stumbles forward. :P

Aww thanks! I'm seeing a friend tonight I haven't seen in a couple years. Hang and chat a couple hours.

Thats always the best when you catch up like that.

The only time that ever didn't work for me was with a friend who I had always been internet friends with but she stopped down to hang out. Super good person, but she barely wanted to chat. Instead she was sitting playing Pokemon go the whole time. I'm good with gaming, but you drive 5 hours to hang out. You can play PG when you are at home. /sigh

I made the executive decision to close the office at 3 today. None of us are very productive after our evening of debauchery last night. Oh well! :D

Yeah, I had a 10 minute car ride home. It was her time, but a few drinks and some quick conversations that didn't really amount to much. Its always interesting to see how people change from "posts" to real life.

Ya she's a friend that I close with at work. Her daughter will be with so we are trying to figure out were to meet up. She's kinda in hiding from a crazy ex in the area so we have to be careful unfortunately.

Oh no.. thats really crummy. I'm meeting so many new people lately and its so amazing. Its also shocking to me how often there are crazy ex's or difficult people in everyone's life. My brain just can't wrap itself around why you would be like that to someone you care about.
