I hate not working...not necessarily financially...although that is part of it. But work was satisfying...gives you purpose...

it does definitely fill the days up. What industry are you in? I left my last field in Social Work to work in IT. It was an amazing change.

There are different purposes....personal and professional...

Personally I have purpose....but after 29 years...I need to have it professionally too

If you could be doing anything in the world, barrier free, what would you be doing?

I would be a circus performer! My barrier is that I have no act/talent lol

I'd be a performer of some sort...I've done improv & acting so I'd love to do either.

Or rock star...but my guitar playing leaves a lot to be desired

Happy Family Day. Here, it's President's Day, which I'm celebrating by working through the day like it's a normal Monday. After I get home though, the party will really start as I sit through my son's wrestling meet. After all that excitement, I'll wind out the celebration with some melatonin and probably fall asleep reading "The King in Yellow" again.

Sometimes I wonder how I get anything done around here!

Working hard, yes--got a buncha meetings today that aren't "show up" meetings but are "participate" meetings so I gotta have my mind right. No lie, it's a struggle today :)

And early taxes mean less worry at the deadline, or a faster return (if you're in that camp). Hooray for getting them done, anyway
