    Funny story. I was driving my old miata with my gf (at the time) in the passenger seat. I had a pair of handcuffs on my handbrake, and my military gear on the rear shelf (helmet and vest). I get pulled over for speeding and the cop walks up to my car. He looks at the handcuffs and asks me, "are you military police?" I respond to him, "no, those are purely for recreational use." My gf covers her face in embarassment and the cop laughs at her response and lets me off with a warning. lol
