I eat fage fat free plain Greek yogurt with fresh berries every day for breakfast. I love the Oikos key lime flavor but it has way too much sugar :/

Yes, this is why I don't eat it often and have thought of making my own.

I had a friend who tried it. If you are interested i can ask her how it went.

If you get a chance, no big hurry.. I've only been thinking about making my own for a couple years now! :D

No just went for coffee. Not sure who the statue is. It was saved from a local farm. Has to be either Washington or Jefferson. Since Washington Crossing is close by I will go with that.

I imagine the statue is holding some sort of document but I was cracking myself up because it looks like a lunch bag!

Yeah, that's true. It also makes a decent replacement for sour cream in tacos. Not perfect, but it works and adds protein.

What about in place of mayo in tuna or chicken salad?

I don't know how people don't like greek yogurt. I find the Dannon Light and Fit greek yogurt amazing. Normally they have a layer of jelly underneath the yogurt, so you can mix it together for the flavoring, but I most recently tried their strawberry cheesecake. There was no jelly layer, and it tastes so fluffy and smooth. Almost reminded me of eating mousse

I've only tried it twice so far...one with honey and I think one with strawberry but it wasn't the Dannon brand. I guess I will have to give it another try in different brands maybe but the one I had just tasted sour.

Diff brands definitely taste different. Even the styles of the same brand can taste differently. I also find that temperature plays a lot in greek yogurts consistency and its a yogurt best eaten while still cold. If it has been out of the fridge for more than 30 minutes and I havn't opened it, I just put it back in. Otherwise it loses its creamy texture and visual appeal.
