Ah...during my bulk I would have about 120g of popcorn kernels per night....Still fine while cutting, sure. If it fits.

I adore popcorn. It's my go-to volume food when I'm right in meet prep.

I put nutritional yeast on mine. 30-60 calories and a few grams of protein. Taste like doritos.

Air popped. If you are feeling like treating yourself add butter and parm. Otherwise plain is great.

those kernel seasonings are not to bad on calories.. we have the nacho cheese, white cheddar, garlic parm, and kettle corn. We have a movie theater standing popcorn maker.. we love popcorn clearly haha.

One of my most pleasant surprises from joining MFP and logging is that I can still eat popcorn. Not only is one serving of my as-much-fat-as-i-want popcorn only 210 calories, but it fills me up way better than a lot of other healthy foods that have as many calories. One tablespoon of grapeseed oil, with salt to taste and a little cayenne. 35 grams of uncooked popcorn. Yum.

Um, what does this have to do with weight lifting?

Try pre-logging a day, and see if you have room for your popcorn. You can try the cheesy and plain and see which works better.

I pop the kernels and then spray with a little Pam and sprinkle kernel seasons cheddar flavor on it. Voila, cheese popcorn. There are 4 cheese flavors.

I love old fashioned popcorn oil popped with nutritional yeast and Mrs Dash instead of a lot of salt. Sometimes I put Himalayan pink salt on it. Even though I try to eat low carb some days...this is my all time favorite snack. Red popcorn is the best! and white is my second favorite.

One of those little 100g bags of microwave popcorn is over 400 calories. Very yummy but not particularly calorie friendly.

Love plain popcorn but for an evening snack I would rather use any spare calories on a banana or chilled soya dessert instead.

I'd never heard of that. That's a good idea. Thanks.

I like air-popped popcorn with Tapatio hot sauce drizzled on it. Don't need salt or anything else on it with that. Makes it a bit tangy and oh so yummy!
