It happens bro, first round at the strip club is on me.:drinker:
that may be where he found this girl and why he's in this problem. my former trainer and I became very close after I couldn't train with him due to my injury we became friends after his 3rd call to check up on me and realizing I was never coming back. one of the things I found out during our friendship was that he was having his heart broken repeatedly by an emotionally unavailable stripper. sad too cause he was so hot. and so kind. and so hot. and so buff. and so hot. and so smart. and so hot. Is it getting hot in here?:blushing:0 -

Ever loved somebody and have them flip a 180 one day and just say they dont want it any more?
Then find out they have a history of commitment problems and run away when things get serious.
Then have them lead you on for 2 months?
feeling sucks
I'm sorry that you had to go through this
Im not really a strip club or drinking kind of person but, heres :flowerforyou: ( supposed to be an emoticon?) and a hug! You will be okay ....0 -
tell us some more about this cold heartless girl
Never said she was heartless, just sucks to find out about her commitment problems after I loved her.
Meh, time heals all wounds right0 -
Yes. Dated for 3 years. Sucked balls, because he was not a commitment fan, so he was on and off the whole time and I put him on a stupid pedestal. It took me 10 years to get over him and realize that he was not the "one," because if he were he wouldn't have treated me that way! I don't believe in the one now...just the one you decide to be with and make it work, because that's what a committed relationship is about: making it work, commitment, companionship and love.0

No, I have a little more pride then to let someone treat me like a piece of *kitten* because I'm stupid enough to fall in love. I fell in love with a man that deserves it, and we both work damn hard to maintain it. I didn't run around romanticizing constantly about being in love, and hoping that one day it would happen. If you let her treat you like that, she's going to continue to treat you like that. How about you grab some confidence and stop being a door mat?
Hope you've learned to be a little more cautious now...maybe get to know them before you confess your love0 -

unless you're a mind reader, anyone can be fooled. especially as sometimes that person is fooling themselves too.
how is it being a doormat to get dumped?0 -

that's just ridiculous, a person should just prevent themselves from falling in love until they know that the other person loves them? Well that would never work because everyone would be waiting for hte other person to fall in love
that is an emotionally closed off way to live.
I mean, don't fall in love with everyone you date (stage 5 clinger alert) but I do think not being closed off is a good thing0 -
You can't tell me there were no red flags, or just a whiff of crazy? I didn't say to wait for the other person to fall in love, I said don't be stupid and keep your eyes open0

Yes
Am I the only one that goes from feeling depressed to  to :explode: then back to depressed? :grumble:0 -
I was married 13 years, my ex met someone she thought was a billionaire and I was kicked out of the house a week later. She said the two things had nothing to do with each other , that we were drifting apart and had different goals, but I was under the impression things were going fairly well. He turned out to be no where near that well off , then his company went under and last I heard he was broke. I found this rather amusing.0

Yep, happened about four months ago, broke mine and my sons heart
I'm healing fine... My son on the other hand..0 -
sorry that you're going through this. I along with many others on here have gone through that. I don't know what it was about this one dude, but after he decided he didn't want to see me anymore all I could do was lay in my bed and cry. two weeks later I got laid off from my 8-5 office job. that same week, I met a guy who worked night shifts doing IT work. We're now married. The point is no matter how cliché this sounds, things happen for a reason. For one I totally give you props for being able to be strong enough to admit you loved her. A lot of people I know including me took forever to do that.
somehow all the crappy feelings you have right now will be all worth it when the one meant for you loves you as much as you love her.
sorry for sounding...mushy but I hope this helps....on random news...strip bars a tons of fun!0 -
Having a kid adds a nither level to it. My daughter is strong but it makes your heartbreak again trying to explain it.0

Yes dealing with their pain and anger, is the worse part of it all0 -

Commitment issues can run deep.
The best thing you can do is love that person from a distance. Try to put yourself first because you can NOT change
someone who does not want to change.0 -
yes, and will not again.0
