    False -but was on a flight... making the approach to land...about 10 ft. off the ground...suddenly ascended at what felt to be a 60 degree ascent! Scared the heck out of all of the passengers. Second approach was much better.

    True... only three times though. Once in 1967 (Summer of Love) while going to the Fantasy Faire and Magic Mountain Festival up on Mount Tamalpais (on the North peninsula of San Francisco Bay; the 2nd time was a bust -- spent six hours total going only 30 miles and then giving up and returning home; the last time, my car broke down on Highway 1 north of Santa Cruz and thumbed a ride into town.

    TNP has hopped a train (i.e. sat on a flatbed or in a boxcar, not in a passenger car)

    true. I have a collection of Rubik's Cubes and similar puzzles. The Rubik's Cubes include the original 3x3, plus a 2x2, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7 and (comically) even a 1x1.
