I was the same exact way! I started 212 in trying to get to 185, it's crazy how many calories you can throw down with out even noticing! I was disgusted at first but I'm just disgusted with what I should be eating haha

My current streak is 178 days but I have been working on this off and on for almost 3 years. Started at 302 in 2013 and lost 50 pounds. Took a long break, gained 10 back, then restarted in November 2015 at 262 and now I'm down to 234. 67 pounds lost total. I'm 5'11".1

I'm around 122 lbs down from 260 lbs (Jan 2012). Started using MFP at around 220 lbs(March 2013).Took a 9 month or so break starting fall 2013 and ending may 2014 (pregnant). Started back up that consistently that fall and I'm now on day 640.
Just working on losing a couple vanity pounds and then transitioning to maintenance.2 -

At some point you settle into something slow, steady and lasting. MFP recommends around a pound or so lost per week.
Remember, it's not a race. Fast weight loss and a crash diet usually mean fast weight regain.
I lost 100+ pounds over 2 years and have kept it off for almost 5 years.
Good Luck to you all!

It took me my whole life to learn this. I was a yoyo dieter.... up and down like a hookers drawers on a paid day! Now I am focused on a healthy eating plan and getting my body back to feeling good. The weight will look after itself if I adopt a healthy way of eating and caring for myself.1 -
