She left me because I'm losing weight

I have 80lbs to drop so I can hit my goal of 199lbs, I'm doing this for me and I would have thought I had the support of my lady but it seems as I drop weight she becomes unsure of herself and our relationship. So as of today she is now out of my life and I'm on this road that I'm enjoying alone but hey...it is what it is. Blessings to everyone as you start this road to weight lost or you have already started.

That sucks, but i guess it's better to know now rather than later.0

I agree and it's a lesson learned0

I would think that she'd want to stay by your side on your journey; well, whatever happens from now on, stay strong !0

It all happens for a reason
Good luck on your journey0 -

This is so freakin' relatable it isn't even funny. Thanks for sharing.
OP, keep going. Setting personal goals and fullfilling them when you know it's time is so important. Good luck. I hope she finds her way0 -
I had a yoga instructor once tell me:
once you make a conscious choice to shift your life & follow your path, it will naturally repel away individuals who would hinder your destination, but you never know who's just around the bend on your trail to happiness.0 -
If she really loves you she will come around. If not, then she wasn't the person for you & plus you need someone that is supportive of you and your goals0

4 Steps ? No Fruit Juice???? Damn!!0

That stinks. Keep working on you. You will feel better eventually.0

Sometimes when you make changes partners/friends feel threatened, like you don't love or have time for them anymore but if she really cared she would support your journey. Y are doing something positive, so keep going and maybe you will find someone who will journey with you!0

Very sad, I'm sorry. A great partner would be happy for you and encourage you to get healthy. Time will heal this.0

You can do this. Someone who abandons you for making a positive change in your life that isn't hurting anyone is toxic. You are better off. Now go finish what you've started, you got this!!!!0

Thank you everyone for your comments, I truly do appreciate them.0

I'm sorry to hear that she was too insecure in herself to support the healthy lifestyle you are living. Congratulations for your success and determination to continue and best of luck in your future. I'm sure you will succeed. Take care of yourself, we're here to support you!0
