Hey! I've lost 103 pounds and reversed my type 2 diabetes..and yep, i still eat cake ;)

Reducing carbs only helps aid in blood sugar spikes and drops. Reducing my weight reversed my diabetes. Without that no matter how much carbs I reduced I would of still had to take medication like metformin or in my actual real life case units of insulin because the fat on my body was causing insulin resistance.
If you're gonna reduce carbs but still eat yourself to obesity in other things you're not really helping yourself any. Eating meat only is pretty boring. Lol I enjoy veggies and milk and bread, pasta and rice.
