    Makes sense, I suppose (re farm cats fed milk regularly).

    House cats not fed it regularly still (IME) want it, but generally should not have it/react poorly.

    We can. We thought of it and have hands. As a result, many of us have lactase persistence, which is a cool trait. Other animals will, in fact, drink the milk of other species as adults too, given the opportunity.
    Dairy isn't what you think it is, and research proves it.

    How about cats drinking cow's milk?
    I owned hermit crabs for a few years before they were rehomed.

    They need to have a varied diet, dairy was given to them every so often. Dairy was occasionally offered, usually cheese to avoid quicker spoilage, but I did use a little milk when I would make them scrambled eggs.

    The few times I offered straight milk for them to drink, they seemed quick to hoard it into their shells.
