I am so tired of being tired. I am just so run down all the time... Between my shift work, my kids, my animals, my volunteer work, my 2-3 times a week in the gym and running the household in general I am simply to tired to worry about my eating. I meal prep when I can, but it doesn't stop me from over eating or just grabbing something in passing when I am just to tired to care. If my life slows down then I find I lose focus and direction in my life, but with my life busy I am happy but I lose focus and direction on my weight. I simply can't win! I am physically active enough I think, but my diet needs massive improvement and it needs to be done on a strict budget. All I want to do is lose 10 lbs. I don't want to be greedy or anything lol.
Is there anyone else out there run off their feet and trying to lose a few extra pounds?

I hear you there are times I just want to eat crap and give in but I remind myself how much better I feel and have more energy. I love the gym now before I had no energy or motivation. I'm trying to lose 61 more lbs I'm down 12 lbs so far. You can do it you will get there0

If you watch what you eat and eat the right foods you may not feel as tired and run down. This is a reason to pay attention to what goes in your mouth. Also do you want to teach (by example) your children that what they eat doesn't matter if they are too tired. Eating more fruits and vegetables in season and less animal products is very budget friendly and can be good for the whole family. There is more than a few pounds on the line here. You can do it.0

I agree with @Lizzy622: getting proper nutrition will help your energy levels tremendously. It only seems like it takes a lot of work but there are tons of ideas on this site as far a meal planning, batch cooking, freezing food, etc.
What do you eat now? Can you just cut back? Or if you resort to fast food when out with your kids you can always find healthier options. Generally a dramatic change isn't needed. Just a few tweaks here and there and once you start feeling better it won't seem like so much work anymore.0 -
What about cutting out sugar, or cutting it out during the week, or not baking cookies and cakes that you like?0

I have been there! I work anywhere between 45 to 70 hours a week, am getting my MBA, have yet kids both in sports, and so on.
I have tried so many times and failed. I think you have to stop using being busy as an excuse and just make it happen. You can do this!
