Guys on MFP

A lot of women on here, including myself, keep getting those "Hey there " messages all the time. It gets really old. I'm married so I have no interest in being hit on.I'm here to reach my goals and better myself. It would be awesome to see guys that are on the same journey. The ladies that I'm friends with are awesome, but it would just be nice to see a guys perspective.

I have quite a few supportive and non flirtatious guys on my friend list. They're definitely around and are pretty awesome1

I have a bunch too. They're great.
The flirty guys are cool too as long as they aren't icky0 -

Guy perspective: "hey there " is another way of saying hello. That's pretty much it. You might be reading into it a little too much. I personally would rather use "hey there" than "hello"2

I'm totally non-flirtatious and a great motivational friend!. . Unless you start it...then all bets are off...1

I agree "hey there" doesnt seem creepy to me but its second only to "hi" on the lame opener scale...If you want to start a conversation put a little effort into it!..0 -
Trust me, a plain hi is brilliant compared to the crap I get!0

Hey there seems innocent enough, but it's that damn emoji isn't it?
Look at em.. all suggestive and flirty.
Alright guys, if you're going to message the OP or any other female just drop the emoji. It makes it look like you desperately want to go deep inside.
Unless that's true of course. Then by all means emoji away!5 -
I can feel you, happens to me aswell all the time.1

Ewwww
I had the guy send me his stats. Then there was yesterday's interesting friend request. Oh the joys of mfp.0 -
Ooh...writing that one down for future use...lol. I assume it worked, right??
Well, I did accept your FR, so, duh. I kid, I kid.

My toy boy offer...saw my posts was intrigued. Even posted his pic in the forums for me to see. kinda like shopping now.0 -
Why are you writing about fitness on a dating site?6
-
Methinks your problem is that the message is clearly working with some women. If they didn't, men would stop sending them! Some refusals are just an 'occupational hazard'!0

Doesn't really ever work out for me either..0

I see all these message threads like "what would you do with the person above you", "would you flirt with the person above you"...etc. I was beginning to wonder if this WAS a matchmaking site...lol. I too am married and I am here just for tips on losing weight. I avoid any unwanted messages by using a profile photo with me an my wife in it.3

I would think making a thread like this would only solicit more attention.5

ignore..0

Have a picture like mine up and you attract no one lol. I like it like this too, because no one really bothers me. I get some people asking me what I look like, so I'll post a pic for a few minutes and then it's right back to this. It makes things a lot easier. And if I did get a message out of the blue that I didn't like, you know what I do? I delete it. Simple. Just delete and ignore. Lol1
