Nowhere near as awesome as some of those, but I've done OK with this calorie counting business.

Personally, I find that keeping my carbs around 100 and watching my calories is my secret to weight loss. Every person has a different method. Before, I used to believe that calorie counting didn't work because I could still sneak in some cookies and be under my total calorie count. I still felt unsatisfied and wasn't losing weight. I found that restricting my carbs caused me to make way healthier choices but I still had to watch my portion sizes and total caloric intake. I've just started my journey after putting on weight again, but I am totally determined to lose the weight for good this time. Adding calorie counting to watching my total carbs is going to help me get there :D!

I tried to lose weight for years without counting calories. I have a really healthy diet, but damn I was fat. Since counting calories beginning in mid-January 2013, I'm down:

What an inspiring thread, thanks for starting it Taunto!!

I've dropped 138 so far, when I added it up I had no clue it was that much... more to go but proud of how far I've come!

Here's to each of us continuing no matter if we're looking to go up or down on the scale or something in between!:drinker:

    Accountability works! Who knew?!
