So what happens of you eat a carb at 5:01? Does daylight savings time make a difference?

Dont be a smart *kitten*, I was asking a question if you dont have an answer move on

HAHAHAHA!! If you are still hanging in, I worked with two guys who wanted to lose but didnt want to work for it. They stopped eating bad carbs after 3 p.m. and they lost weight. I can understand why though, but for them that was "no work involved".

i have a method of eating that probably differs from others. I eat a large majority of calories inlcuding carbs late at night and it refuels/replenishes my body/glycogen stores while i sleep. Then the next day i eat light throughout the day and then eat a lot at night again. Works for me as long as i stay within my calorie allowance. Thats all that really matters, how many not when.
    Same.

I could never stop eating cabs after 5pm. I start my day with a moderate amount of carbs and protein and finish it with a small amount of carbs and protein. I'm so active during the day that I've never had to be bothered with how many carbs I'm getting in a day.

Didn't know one can interpret tone over text. Projection maybe.

yep, yep the verbiage that is use when writing sets the tone of the writer. I am sure you knew that, lol

I haven't tried that. I've lost about 85 lbs so far and I consume LOTS of carbs after 5 pm.

(If you want some more context to go with that, I work a pretty sedentary desk job, and commute by car, then I get home and bike for 90 minutes or run for 30 to 60 minutes. When I get home, I make a smoothie out of 18 oz of raspberries, with lots of other good stuff and protein. It helps my body recover from the exercise.)

Some people sound more blunt without being buttholes, though. I always read things typed online in a neutral tone. Too many times I've seen people being accused for being buttholes when all they do is non-sugar coat things and cut to the chase. *shrug*

i can write the word "okay" and you could perceive its tone in like 100 different ways. so no.. tone is perceived by the reader. this forum has a lot of funny lighthearded sarcasm especially when someone makes a post about complete and utter nonsense.

    Just don't write "k"

Not eating carbs after 5 helps some people not over eat at night because fat and protein is so filling. If you can stay in a deficit, there's no need to do this.
I personally love to eat carbs right before bed. It makes me sleepy.
