I need help, I am currently 248 wanting to get down to160. I am 52 years old with no metabolism. I have tried other plans, lost 50 or so lbs.. thought I could maintain and I couldn't. I gained that back plus more weight on top of that. I have all the will power during the day, but at night when I get home from work I am hungry.. The more I think about it I believe I eat to decompress from work. I have a very stressful and active job, I track my steps everyday, they average 15,000 to 17,000 for a 8.5 hour shift. The only sitting I do at work is the 30 minute lunch I have. Any tips and tricks anyone can share with me will be greatly appreciated. I want to be healthy !

I still have 79lbs to lose, lost 30 upto now, Can i ask, what loss rate you have set? Im sure i read here that if you have over 75lbs+ you should set it to 2lbs per week, 40lbs to 75lbs 1.5lbs per week?

Being a bigger girl the 2lbs per week loss at 1280kcal is staring to wear very thin, i just dont have enough kcals for 3 good meals and a couple of snacks.

I could carry on but im not sure if to up my cals decrease my weekly loss rate. Im scared if i do this i will gain weight? because it adds like an extra 200 calories a day.

can anyone offer any advice? or plans on what they eat for 1200kcal?

I did 1200 for awhile but don't think I'm getting enough nutrients by this I was only having one maybe 2 simple things each meal. For example oatmeal morning, apple/yogurt afternoon, dinner a lean cusine meal for snacks cut up veges or nuts/seeds/roasted chickpeas. I started drinking meal replacement shakes in the morning and added a multivitamin just to help with vitamins.

I started my weight loss journey in early August and lost 18 pounds, but I've been stuck at this weight for around 20 days (up and down a lb or two) despite logging, weighing, measuring and walking. I'm looking into calorie cycling to get this moving again. Feel free to add me, thanks!

Not believing the scales completely yet, but this morning I think I may have almost joined the nineties club (kgs that is). I am aiming to lose 30 kgs more (66.13 lbs) by the 1st April 2017. That works out at 1.25kgs (2.75 lbs) a week. Has anyone else managed to lose that much in 6 months?

  • Hey ladies,

My starting weight is now 275 goal weight 130 and to gain back 40 pounds in mussle so 170. I recently gained 55 pounds in the last six months. Between love and birth control and poor eating habits I'm feeling extremely discouraged. Any advice out there?!?!?

I've averaged about 10 pounds a month, but as I get closer to my goal I am fully expecting it will slow down. The thinner we get, the less calories we need to maintain, so the calorie deficit that used to drop 2 lbs/week isn't going to work anymore!

Not sure exactly how much but I definitely have over 100lb to lose. Haven't replaced my broken scales as of yet.

Hi, I just started too. You add friends or people request you. You can join groups and/or challenges. You really have to familiarize yourself with the website to get the most from it.

I've added people who are active on here. I post status updates on my page and people comment, lending their support and encouragement. I, also, visit friends' pages, encourage them, look at their diaries, if available. You can get meal ideas.

The groups are great because you can focus on what's important to you. For example, I do intermittent fasting and eat plant based. I found groups that emphasize those. But, basically, is getting to know how to use the website/app to best support you.

Please feel free to add me. I'm just learning all of this but if I can help you out, I'd be happy to!

    GW:160 or a healthy

I was starting to lose weight 2 1/2 years ago. Then surprise...I got pregnant! :D ( I thought I was done having babies. I have 2 grown children). BFing I got down to 230 but when I stopped I gained back the 20 I lost. I am now getting more serious or rather focused about losing weight since turning the BIG 40 this past April!
