Fat Shaming in Disney Movies

All the Disney princesses are fit and beautiful. It's not fair. When people complained about the stereotypes Disney princesses fit into, instead of really fixing the problem, they just replaced the traditional dainty princess with Pocahontas, a woman with an athletic figure who jumps off cliffs and swims through rivers while singing underwater. Dont they think it will make us fat people feel bad? At first I thought Pocahontas was a movie about tolerance, till it got to the part where it said: "Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest / Come taste the sun sweet berries of the earth." Basically it's saying we have to run and get exercise and eat nothing but twigs and berries. I feel like Disney is a poor company.

Thats what makes them watchable, they look real. In USA women look like Stepford wives, its getting better,slowly.0 -

Tbh I wish they'd cast Danny Devito is literally every person in every film.1 -
Not porn though... *shiver*2

Oh wow...
What if Tony Stark took a break from being Iron Man and just 'let himself go' for a while.
Then...when the hour grows dark and the world needs a hero, he returns...
Would he be crushed to death by the Iron Man suit?1 -
No one will ever look anything like a Disney princess. Not skinny girls, fit girls or fat girls. You'll never look like a barbie doll either hun.
And we won't ever be able to fly around on a magic carpet like Jasmine but no one complains about that.
Understand that it's a cartoon.. you can't compare you're self to something that's not real.1 -

It's me, OP, sitting back LOLing at all the responses.
Thanks to everyone who actually got the joke or even if they didn't, made funny and humorous responses.3 -
Maybe OP is on to something. I could watch Wile E Coyote dine on corn-fattened Road Runner. I've been rooting for the poor guy coming up on 40 years. It's about time he gets a meal.2

This is a strange discussion! And agree I hate that we are so PC these days. I am overweight, and I am ashamed. I am trying to do something about it, but pissed I got this way. WHO CARES.
Its sad that we are living in a society where no one is allowed to have an opinion without fear of offending someone. There are absolutes in this world and your just going to have to accept that. Our society as a whole has deemed overweight people as less attractive.. I tend to agree with that.. It sucks I know but I have been overweight myself. I understand that not everyone can be a supermodel but you can chose to live a healthy lifestyle. Will that help everyone no but it will help a great majority. Nowhere in our bill of rights are we guaranteed not to be offended .. at some point your going to have to suck it up and move on or do something to correct the problem.
Ok I have stated a firm opinion ... I hope this doesn't happen but someone will probably now label me a fat hatter or flag me for hate speech and I'll get dinged for this post.. please prove me wrong.0 -

Are you saying that instead of trying to eat better and exercise, I could have just browbeaten women into thinking I was attractive at 290 pounds?
Yes, you just have to spank them until they behave.0 -

I feel like Pocahontas is the *only* princess out there who gave you a clear fitness plan: eat only berries/trail run. You choose to reject it. That's on you.
It's far better than Belle's pushing of diet books on the masses. Sure honey, we'll all ignore that you had freaking furniture planning and making all your meals for you, and did hours of cardio running from either the beast or the deranged mass of villagers with pitchforks. It's the books.

Native Americans still exist despite European colonizers' best efforts at exterminating them completely. They come in all shapes and sizes, just like white people. I love BBC shows!0 -
Some of you need to figure out the difference in trolling and parody. This is pure genius.1
