Hi there, welcome to MFP and good luck with your journey!
Setting small goals for yourself is a great idea - if I'd looked at the whole 60+ pounds I needed to lose as one huge goal, it would be very daunting! So I broke it down into 10lb steps, as well as a few general fitness/health-related/clothing goals since it doesn't all have to be about the number on the scale. It's much easier for me to see that I have 2.5lbs until my next mini-goal than another 40lbs or more to go in total.
There are definitely plenty of videos online to help people who have difficulties with exercise - try searching for exercise for "limited mobility", I found a whole bunch a while ago for someone else. And don't beat yourself up if you can't exercise much - any kind of movement is helpful, if you can find something you enjoy, but for pure weight loss your calorie intake is the most important thing.
Check out the stickies in the various forum sections - here are a couple of them, plus a couple more of the most helpful posts I've seen. Like any internet forum there are plenty of people with opinions here, and many of them disagree, but in general it's a helpful and supportive place to be!

Hi I've only been using MFP for about a week and I too have disability so find it hard to do load bearing exercise but I try and walk for 15/20 minute intervals throughout the day. that depends on my energy levels on that day. Although I've managed to loose 8 lb since 16th May . welcome on board and feel free to add me as a friend on here0
