I just began my Keto diet about a week ago, and I wanted to eat a different variety of foods. Any suggestions or recommendations on what I should eat or what you guys eat??? Thanks

Have youjoined the low carb group? Most of our ketoers hang out there http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/394-low-carber-daily-forum-the-lcd-group0

Meat fish eggs cheese with vegetables and low carb berries with yoghurt and/or cream. Not all at once, obv.0

- You can make "sandwiches" using lettuce wraps.
- I know they sell those low carb tortillas (about 6 net grams of carbs a tortilla) at the grocery store which would go great with mexican food like tacos... you can even make your own tortilla chips with them. I even sometimes used these tortillas as the "crust" to make pizza with sugar-free tomato sauce.
- If it's not too expensive... beef jerky is great as a snack choice (they do usually run really expensive for a very little amount).
- You can slice up zucchini using a food spiraler or just a knife into spaghetti shapes, cook it on a pan until it's almost a noodle consistency, and have zucchini noodles for a pasta substitute
- Cheese strings as another easy snack
- Unsweetened almond milk as a carb-free milk substitute (which would actually taste great in some recipes that call for milk)
- Chicken breasts can be relatively cheap and easy to make into a nice dinner
And I can't think of much else other than your general veggies and meats...3 -
I second (third?) the suggestion to visit the LCD group.
I do LCHF, 50g net carbs a day (give or take). Tonight my supper was a bed of romaine lettuce with tomato and red bell pepper. I 'dressed' it with a mix of olive oil mayo, half an avocado, and taco seasoning all mashed together. Then topped with ground beef lightly seasoned with more taco seasoning, and some shredded cheese on top of that. Amazing, and I don't think I would have needed to eat again tonight if I hadn't worked out.
(Post workout was ~100g 11% plain Greek yogurt topped with 20g almond butter... omg so good.)1 -
https://www.reddit.com/r/keto/ is great resource if your new to the diet. I really consume a lot of Avocado. They are high in fat content as well as containing a good amount of fibre. It offers a great overall balance for the diet.

I don't do any grains or sugar, at all. To get enough calories, and to make sure I'm hitting the right macronutrient ratios, I add a tablespoon of organic coconut oil to my coffee. I eat a lot of olives, eggs, avocado, macadamia nuts, chicken, salmon and cheeses. Veggies such as broccoli or asparagus drizzled with olive oil.... There are tons of Keto websites with recipe ideas....0
