I need advice on shopping for remote controlled devices. Range specifically so I'll meet anyone who's prepared to test them with me.

I've not had a lot of experience with various remotes, but I do have extensive research experience I'd love to put to use. Care for a partner Stabbems?

You're most welcome to join, I have some prerequisites for choosing the remote, range, waterproof and battery life.

This research experience, how often should it be used?

Well a reliable study needs a minimum of three trials I think. With varying degrees of difficulty to test the rigor of the device .

OK buy what about multiple remotes? Simultaneous testing?

That might over tax the subject. It's feasible but tolerance has to be built or it could break, rendering the study invalid.

Fair point. Wow this research stuff has really paid dividends. When do we test irl situations?

Well usual testing say 3 sessions a week? 1-2hours each with a longer one on say Sunday to test battery life.

    Reasonable?

Very reasonable. What's August look like for you? I gave some time in my research calendar. But I might need compensation for my time.

August looks busy but I'm sure I could squeeze it in.

    What sort of compensation?
