I started MFP mid July! It has been slow and steady. Some weeks I lose 2 pounds others one. I have had some weeks with zero pounds lost but I stayed focused knowing I wasn't going to go off my "diet"- because I am not on one. I eat what I want when I want but once my calories are gone that is that!
Thank you to everyone for the nice compliments! I will use them to motivate me!!9 -
Awesome! You were beautiful before, stunning now! Keep up the great work!4

Well done you look fantastic! I was a similar starting size/weight as you and my goals and eating plan are the same, I haven't lost as much as you yet! I started my 'journey' in March, I wondered if you exercise too? Also do you have a lot of excess skin, sorry if that sounds cheeky!1

Thank you so much for the kind words! I really do appreciate them!! I do not have a specific exercise routine because to be honest I really don't like to do it and find it hard to maintain a strict schedule with my job. I know it is taboo to say but it's true lol. I love the results of it though of course! I know I'm not alone in that! But I do know it is necessary to move more! I read an article one that said losing weight is 80 percent diet and 20 percent exercise so that was somewhat freeing for me. For so long I felt if I don't get my five days a week exercise in I might as well just eat because I have blown it lol. Long long ago I lost weight quick and fast by eating really very little and working out four or five times a week in the gym. It fell off fast like three pounds a week but I couldn't maintain it at all!
So this time I promised myself I would truly change and shift my way of eating in a manner I can maintain and the same for exercise. I got a Fitbit and dedicated myself to moving more - parking farther away, not just sitting at my desk. I am an elementary principal so now when I do recess duty I move more around the playground instead of standing. I have a goal of 10,000 steps at least four times a week- that's my routine. I walk at the park while my girls play things I can do forever!
So while it has fallen off much slower I also read that that means true weight loss! There is an article on the boards about how it is going for weight loss to no be consistent and how you will have weeks it isn't and that's fine! It will stay off though!!
Excess skin- ugh! I do have some! More on my tummy and arms than anywhere. I do think I will get in the gym to try and tone some of it and plan to do so once I reach my final goal!
Send me a friend request so we can do it together!! I am so glad to have this community because I am very private with friends and family. I know it sounds weird but I never really talk about it with them. People compliment and ask questions which is nice but I feel like people are always watching what goes in my mouth lol.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. I really truly appreciate them-they motivate me. This week I didn't have a loss but was bummed even though I know it is natural and okay. I know the scale can be fickle even when you are focused, but yet it still seems to bother me. Returning to this post reminded me how far I have come and that simply maintaining is a victory in itself.
So thankful for MFP and the entire community.

How did your cup size increase to a Triple D from D after weight loss? The cup size is the actual size of your breasts. Interesting.1
