    Don't get your hopes up. Not to sound like a negative nancy...A few years ago my partner joked around about getting a ring etc. etc. I was SO excited (seeing as we had been together for 5 years!) I told people at work & friends.....Then....He got me a ring, but it wasn't THE ring :sad: I was happy but sad at the same time.

    I hope for you, it happens.. But just let it happen, you can't rush these things. If it's meant to be, it will happen. Thankfully, another 2.5yrs down the track. I got THE ring. :love:
    I have a feeling it's not a huge ring. i know its the ring tho. it could be ugly. my friend got an ugly one. I really don't care if its now or next year or ugly or pretty. I love him forever. we joke about going to the JP. it doesn't matter but it matters because he makes me happy-- I know I've got a golden one and I want him always.

    I would never marry someone after a year or two. They don't even start to show their crazy until year 3 or 4....

    well that's mean and negative and just not true in this situation. it's not even a question, someone just suggested it because that was her own experience.
    anyways, it's here and I'm nervous and need a Xanax but so happy but nervous. I haven't told anyone but you guys. squeak.

    I was a little but then when he was drunk a few months ago he confessed he wanted to do it next may.
