Retook my "before" photo almost one year to the day - 100lbs lost!

I hit my rock bottom when I almost didn't fit on a ride at Universal Studios. Took lots of pics on my June, 2015 vacation including the "before" pic. We went back on vacation this year with me 100lbs lighter (I'm still working on weight loss), so I thought I would retake the picture to show what a difference a year can make. . . . and yes, this time I fit on all the rides, no modified seating required.

Congrats.
I bet you feel 100 x better, lighter on your feet and maybe your medicine cabinet is looking empty. Are you buying new clothes yet?
Any suggestions on method (diet exercise specifics)? Help the rest of us2 -

You better believe it! It was a completely different vacation. My feet barely hurt despite day after day of walking around theme parks, no swelling, abundance of energy, etc. That feeling just inspires me more every day.
My methods are not all that exciting.
I just strived for something that I thought would be sustainable for me in the long run. In the past, I've started diets/exercise plans guns blazing and I just can't keep it up.
This time, I set a goal of being more active by getting 10,000 steps a day (already had the fitbit, it's on my wrist in both pictures), and I kept it up. My streak is now over 360 days. I upped my goal to 15,000/day in Feb and that streak is at over 100 days. Other than that, I use the calorie numbers of MFP (lose 2lbs a week) and set an arbitrary carboydrate limit of 100g a day. I try to get my carbs from things like fruits, vegetables and yogurt rather than bread, cereal and pasta. I do take one "free day" a week, not to go crazy but to eat out at a restaurant with my family and enjoy a treat or two. It does cut a bit into my calorie deficit for the week, but not so much that I didn't keep on losing week by week.24 -

Oh yes, your story is very inspiring, Thank you! You seem happier now and I love your hair color. But the best part is how much healthier you appear and that you've been able to keep your motivation going for a year and more. And one day at a time, you can continue to do that!3
