I'm 5 foot 11 inches tall, tattoo'd, with a 14 month old MoHawk. And due to all the time I'm cycling and running I've got a decent tan working. She swears I could pull it off. I just don't think I could. Something like that requires a ton of confidence.

I can get why such a bright silver would scare you. A soft gray balayage would look bomb and could introduce you to it before going full on silver.
