Hey!
Looking to lose some weight and the only way I can seem to shift any is by doing a low carb diet.
I tend to get fed up with eating the same things all the time - mainly eggs, meat and veggies.
Any suggestions to give me some variety are greatly appreciated :)

Check out the low carb group. I would link but i am on the mobile site.

Also the question comes down to, do you plan on staying with this diet?

No matter what type of diet you choose, you can lose weight by staying under your calories.
If low carb becomes too difficult (for me it was), remember that lots of high carb foods can be good for you.
Beans, lentils, quinoa, barley, and even plain sweet potatoes.
    Just don't give up.

When you go low carb , you increase fats: bacon, mayo, butter, half and half, cheese, full fat salad dressing.

You missed out fish and cheese.

Personally I don't miss the beige crap I've banished from my plate.

Yes I'm planning on sticking with it. I'm diabetic so avoiding carbs is having a positive impact on my blood sugar levels amd also means I'm injecting less insulin too :)
