Why not just eat at a small deficit everyday because if you are hungry it may lead you to bingeing. You need learn how to eat for the rest of your life because now it sounds like it is not sustainable for you

@LandyBreigh, I've found when I try to do 3 fasts in one week that 3rd one is a BEAR!! Drink lots of water or tea or coffee (make sure you count your milk and/or sugar). Try to distract yourself by going for a walk or doing something active. Good luck, you can do this... yesterday was my 168th "fast" over the last (almost) 2 years.

Thank you! I definitely needed the support.

I have not had any issues with binge eating, so I think I'll be safe there.

What sorts of things are you eating on your fasting days? Maybe you could play around with that a bit (timing of meal, types of food, etc..) and see if that helps?

So far, I've had the following on fasting days:
    Greek Yogurt
    Chicken
    Fruits
    Veggies
(I had a small portion of mac-n-cheese one night)
    Eggs

Check out some of the info/suggestions in the 5:2 group (a less aggressive form of Alternate Day for closer to goal folks)

Protein, fat & fiber are filling. Some fat with every meal helped, but I found 500 calories too low for me.

Everyone is different regarding what they want or need to eat. I've found that it works best for me to skip breakfast altogether. I have my *huge* (20 oz) mug of tea with a little bit of sugar (total 30 calories) in the morning and then an apple (80 calories) for lunch. If I get a headache or am really hungry in the afternoon, a cup of chicken bouillon (5 calories) helps... So, I've had only 110 or 115 calories up until dinner time. That leaves me with almost 400 calories for a really nice meal. And I usually don't eat them all!! I'll have scrambled eggs with a slice of cheese and some bacon bits or some shrimp cooked up in a bit of butter with wine and half & half and a 1/4 cup of elbow macaroni. Or I'll have a variety of lean cuisines or some sort of frozen meal. Sometimes I'll have a big salad with a bit of canned tuna on top. Lots of choices - and I normally end the day perfectly satisfied at around 400 calories.
I say "normally" because there are days when I eat every last one of 500 calories and occasionally if it's an "extra hungry" day, I've eaten up to 600 calories. Like I said, everyone is different and also, every fast day is different.
Yes, like @TeaBea suggested, check out the 5:2 group on MFP and if you're on facebook, there are also a couple groups there.

If IF works for you, maybe try a 16/8 regimen and see if it is easier to comply.

Sounds like your list could be full of some pretty satiating things. I mentioned playing with timing and foods eaten because I was thinking of my day yesterday. I had bacon, scrambled eggs, and 2 buttermilk pancakes with syrup from our work cafeteria. Normally way bigger than what I'd eat for breakfast (around 800-900 calories), but it was a home run in terms of satiety. I felt full for a good majority of the day on that. A good combo of fat, carbs, and protein seem to do it for me personally.
Though, yeah, the group mentioned above probably has good advice.
