    In a super nutshell...

Eat lean meats, vegetables, and smart non processed carbs. Work out 3-4days a week with a combination of strength training and aerobic work. If you want more detail let me know

What you eat isn't as important as HOW MUCH you eat. You can eat "clean" as much as you'd like, but if you're not in deficit, body fat isn't going to reduce.
And exercise is for fitness and health. Just like "clean" eating, one can do all the exercise they'd like, but unless there's a calorie deficit, body fat % will likely not reduce.

It will help to reduce your glycogen levels and drop some water initially. But sugar isn't evil. Over consumption of it and exceeding your TDEE is what leads to fat storage.

A flat or defined tummy comes from low body fst and good body composition. A deficit, adequate protein and a good resistance program is what will help you get there.
