Biking

The only exercise I do is biking. I lightly bike for about one hour and burn 300+ calories each time. I also plan on biking every day. Is this enough exercise? I know some people who only run and lose quite a bit of weight. Is biking a good form of exercise or should I switch?

Do you enjoy it? If it keeps you active, nothing wrong with biking for exercise. Adding some weight lifting can be a good idea too!3

I used to run, but I stopped and gained all the weight back. Biking is the only thing I genuinely enjoy doing, and can force myself to do after a long day.1 -
Since you enjoy it and see yourself continuing, biking is great!2

The bike is great exercise. Try to introduce one longer ride each week and perhaps try a couple of hills/small climbs if you feel up to it. A gradual increase will provide huge fitness benefits over time.
