thats just what they WANT you to think
A blonde, blue eyed white dude with a six pack once asked us all to love one another from atop a mount and cited that if followed, the world will be a good place and a place is guaranteed in the firmament. Was he wrong?
I would have thought you were talking about Jesus Christ but the hair and eye color as well as abs threw me. Who are you talking about?
Jesus was of "middle eastern" descent... You described a Jesus/hitler hybrid.
I'm also confused as to where the six pack came from.0 -

And I'll just throw this out there as well because I'm pretty sure it has something to do with it...

I find it all to be pretty deplorable2 -

Why the *kitten* would this get flagged. :grumble:4 -
I am in awe that society is shooting those that protect. What will happen when the cops say no more and we have no protection

I'm surprised you're the first person to mention this. The shootings are tragic, but they are also not happening in a vacuum, but rather in the context of other deplorable incidences.

Why is it not considered deplorable to most and is completely ignored and overlooked when, say, black gang members kill other black people? It happens all the time all over the states, but you don't see it on the news or people protesting and rioting for all those lives that were lost. I'm genuinely curious as to the answers.
If the bold part is true, I'll take a shot at giving you a legitimate answer:
(1) Things that happen "all the time" aren't what go on the news. News is for things that don't happen much. You know, man bites dog vs dog bites man.
(2) When criminals kill people, folks assume that's part of what criminals do. They commit crime. When police kill people, well, that's not what police are for, is it?
(2a) We hold public servants up to a higher standard than criminals.
(3) You're a bit misinformed. Murder doesn't happen constantly in every part of our country. The violent crime rate has been going down for decades.
Thanks for a genuine answer! Although, I'm not sure where you gathered I was misinformed. I never stated specific crime statistics. Whether it happened 7.8 times per 100,000 people in 2013 and 6.2 times per 100,000 people now, doesn't negate the fact it's still happening all over the country on almost a daily basis. Five people shot and eight robberies in Oakland alone last night. Another found murdered in his hotel room in Sacramento. That's just two cities in a huge state amongst many states. I guarentee that just didn't happen only here in NorCal either. I'm sure I could Google and find all sorts of other incidents throughout the states just from this last weekend, but the majority of those will only have a few people and a bouquet of flowers at the crime scene.0 -

While black gang members killing other black people doesn't get the same current news saturation as black people being killed in police custody, it is certainly not ignored, overlooked, or not protested in my new sources.
ETA 'current' before 'news saturation', because while black people being killed by police has been happening for quite some time, it's only since the age of social media and ubiquitous camera phones that this has received enough coverage to make a difference.
But hispanics, asians, and caucasians have been killed by police too that whole time. Any idea why that's not highlighted more?4 -

Someone clearly doesn't know the whole story, but feels the need to comment what they think may or may not be true just to add to the hype of everything awful that is already going on in the world. Good Grief.
There are bad cops, there are good cops, there are bad black, white, yellow, orange, brown etc. people as there are good all different colored people. The world is so full of hate it is horrifying. How's about you stop adding to that hate and if you are not 110% certain of ALL of the facts of something that you were not present for then how's about you dont say anything at all.7 -

I believe there are good cops and bad cops. I also believe there is systemic racial injustice in the judicial system.4 -

Fair enough, but there's also a systematic bias in our media... a recent study indicated that unarmed whites were more likely to be shot by the police - you can find these stories, but why don't they make the headlines?3 -

I wholeheartedly agree. The judicial system is very flawed, very broken, *kitten* America is very broken but spreading the hate is not going to do anything to fix it, and blabbing false accusations / false truths on social media certainly is not going to help anything. It's a sad reality really. It honestly is heart breaking.2 -

Just as there has always been.
The difference now: everyone has a camera in their hand 24/7.
Some of these videos ,,like the way people eat should be taken in the full context of what actually happened, not just blips, and short blast that do not show the entire story of what really happened.2 -
Murderers is all they are . Scum of society .2

I can attest to the judicial system being flawed,,,However
I agree that social media, and the major news networks spread such unfounded B/S that it confuses and spreads more hate. It Grows on itself.

Going around killing random cops is brainless . They got to look at themselves and their life and if they are not happy with it , they got only themselves to blame . Everyone has choices . If they made bad choices all their life , it not some random cops fault just doing his job .3
