Ok so I planned on trying to only weigh on Fridays and Mondays...that didn't work, I still step on the scale everytime I'm in the bathroom...how do I stop?0

Ohmyweigh- You're right, the summer time is keeping us all busy, but I guess we are out having fun with family. I only weigh in once everyday and in the morning. Otherwise the weight just fluctuates so much...it makes me mad....
Too sleepy to lift weights this morning, I seriously need like 8 hours of sleep to feel like myself. Wished it were different, but I guess everyone's sleep is different. Still working on going to sleep earlier. Tried the gym at work and got in a run for 20 minutes at 5.0 miles per hour and above. My HRM said I burned 242 calories, and I'm sure that running up and down the subway switching trains will also help get me back on track. I'm also trying a new way of eating which is to eat my heavy meal of typically rice and beans/chicken during lunch time and when I get home I am having a salad and meat. I also snack in between at work. I've heard some people having success eating this way, I figure let me try it. Also, now that my life is more into a routine, I feel more at ease eating the same foods regularly and at the same time.
The last weeks I was eating my entire refrigerator waiting to hear on job interviews. But this is a new beginning.
Great job everybody pushing it every day, and remember we all fall down once in a while,but the important thing is to pick ourselves up and continue on this journey of ours. I really appreciate each one of you guys and am blessed to have ya.0 -
I am finding myself too busy getting ready to head out on vacation to check in much. I'm leaving Saturday morning, and will be back on the 22nd. I'll try to pop by tomorrow before I go.0

I forgot to tell you that I made a lowcarb Impossible Berry Pie this week, and it was pretty tasty at only 180 cals and 19 carbs per serving. I used strawberries and blueberries. I didn't have agave nectar, so I put in a couple of tablespoons of splenda, and it turned out fine. Here is a link to the recipe. Enjoy!

Hi everyone! I am back! It has been a long, fun and wearing week! My son started throwing up this morning and the drive home had more of that instore so I am especially glad to be home! I missed my hubby a ton as he had to stay home and work, but we did have a great time. I actually exercised almost everyday--I will weigh myself in the morning to see the damage from all the treats around though. Hope you all had an excellent fourth...
Don't forget to send me your weights, I only have a few so far!

Today I did some bum-bum shaking with 28 minutes of Brazil butt lift. My eating was very good and I kept the same diet as I did this week. So proud of myself...and plan on continuing to log through the weekend.

Well, I don't quite have everything done for the trip tomorrow, but I'm close, and too tired to continue, so I'm calling it a day. I will probably get on just long enough in the morning to read anything you all post overnight, as that is pretty much my habit when I get out of bed, but won't have time to post.
My plans? My husband, my 5 year old grandson, and I are going to camp for 7 nights near Taos, NM and see the sights around there. Then we will move to Mueller State Park, west of Colorado Springs, CO, for 4 more nights. The Enchanted Circle of NM and the Springs area of CO are two of our favorite vacation spots. We will be joined in NM by 2 daughters, 2 nieces, and their families. Colorado will just be the three of us, and we plan to take the grandson to the North Pole while we are near Pikes Peak. We haven't actually been to Mueller before, so I am looking forward to a new favorite.
You probably won't hear from me again until about the 23rd, but know that I am out there, having a great time, and occasionally thinking of you! Here's to smart choices!0 -
Mary I hope you have a wonderful trip--I have been to Rocky Mountain state park and estes park in Colorado. They are both beautiful! I will have to look up your itinerary. We like finding new places to go!
Sorry I have been MIA I have been attempting to catch up around the house and then got sucked into a book called Poison Study. Good book. That all leads to not being computerizing! My hubby has been grumpy since I got back--He started a huge remodel while we were away, so he couldn't come with. He worked extremely long days while we were gone and I think he started to feel torn again as to whether he should be home or at work. I still have not caught up on housework--laundry is piling up! Darn book!
I am working on the chart, I only got a few weights. Hopefully I will get it up later today. Sorry to be a slacker. This next week I will get it up Friday afternoon...hopefully!

I walked yesterday, and walked today as well. I'm going to continue on my exercise journey. I haven't been feeling too good energy wise and am going to schedule a physical exam to get my blood checked soon. Glad you are all doing great, and continue to take care of yourselves.0 -

I've been extremely busy but I am enjoying the nice weather. Sorry for not checking in more frequently. I have just been trying to work out a schedule that's beneficial to me. Let's hope that the rain goes away before my game tonight or else we will be playing in the rain or the game may be cancelled.0 -
One of the worst weekends in my life. I know I've lost but its not a good loss... expecting it to come back. I will work hard at staying healthy through this mess.
