Cosmetologist!?!?

I am currently in cosmetology school, I go part time so I do class work through the week at night and Saturdays I'm on the floor.
I get so nervous on Saturdays when I get a client. Is this normal? I don't like feeling like I don't know what I am doing (which I really don't yet).
Do you guys have any tips that helped you or anything ??

That doesn't go away for awhile. It wasn't until I was in a actual salon that the confidence came along. I think it helps that when your out on your own you get to be more creative.

Okay thanks! I guess I feel like I'm the only one that feels the way I do. But my school is pretty small and is on a constant rotation so I'm basically by myself as far as how many hours I have and when I started. So that makes it hard for me too, to not have someone that I can relate to.

Being nervous when you are just starting out in anything is normal. Confidence comes with experience. Your nerves will pass as you start working and realise that you actually do know what you are doing. :)
