"A girl who is naturally skinny is lucky, but a girl who has had to work to be skinny is strong!"
Not to mention, much more fit.0 -
I don't have any favorite fat loss sayings. Most of them are, well... lol...0
-
"When I want to quit, I remember who's watching."
I've got a little one I'm setting an example for! I want to be the mom running around the park playing with my kid, not the one sitting on the bench catching my breath.0 -
"The worst thing you could possibly do is nothing"0
-
"Never give up on a dream because of the time it will take to achieve it. The time will pass anyways."
"Without struggle, there is no progress."0 -
You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great
This is great.
I don't know if it counts as a fatloss saying, but when my workouts get tough (and actually, almost anything else now) I try to remember "sisu"... this is where I learned of it:

bump for when I need good reminders about why I do this.0

At my gym there is one that says "Give yourself a pat on the back, those 5 pound weights didnt lift themselves!"
It made me laugh when I read it, but also made me feel great about my work out0 -
Sweat dries, blood clots, bones heal... suck it up princess!
No Excuses
PT or die
No one's ever drowned in sweat
We all need to feel some pain once in a while... it's a reminder that we're still alive0 -

^^ Love this!!0 -
This one applies to everything. "never sacrifice what you want most, for what you want now."
ETA: our RDC in Basic Training always said (or yelled) "If you cheat, you're only cheating yourself." That one stuck with me.
Rigger0 -
Your mind quits way before your body will.
i like this one!0 -
Instead of going to the gym to workout, I'm going to the gym to start a flabolanche :bigsmile:0

"This will get easier as I keep doing it."
"If I keep this up, I'll never have to start over again."0 -
1. you can't eat your way out of a bad diet!
I love this one! All those days when I cave to a little something I shouldn't or go a little over on my calories, this is exactly what I need to be telling myself to nip it in the bud right there.0 -
"Not in this shrine"
A friend of mine would say this in laughter as she turned down tempting treats... I hear it run through my head often0 -
When I'm hungry and I smile and think to myself "this is what burning fat feels like."
An imperfect workout you do is better than the perfect one you don't.0 -
Beauty is pain
No pain, no gain (gain: achieving weight loss)
If it's worth having, it's worth working hard for0 -
"When I want to quit, I remember who's watching."

Yes! Same here!0 -
Success is never final and failure never fatal. It's courage that counts.
You only have 24 hours in a day to be successful. What are you doing with this one?0 -
I love fitness motivations like many of those listed here
My favorite, by far, is this:
"My body does not define me. I define my body."0 -
"Sometimes I wanna give up but then I remember there's a lot of mother****ers I mean to prove wrong."0
-
Fat is hard, Fit is hard, choose your hard
Love this one. So true. Thanks for the great quotes everyone!0 -
when I get discouraged and ask "Why am I doing this?"...my answer is always "Because I Can"...which applies to many things in life0
