Hi I'm a male 28 years old.
I landscape daily and goto the gym 3/4 times a week.
I went from 250 to 185 in the last 8 months!

My body however looks the same just smaller lol we'll I do look more defined but not really. Aain I do goto te gym weekly and put in a good work out!

I enjoy working out and am willing to put in the effort.

I have taken creatine mono hydrate in the past, I did see some results.

I did not like or see any result with pre workout

I'm just curious if there are any other legal legit products that can aid in toning me up

I'm willing to put in more effort but again was just curious if anyone recommends anything other then creatine and working out.

Thanks for any help.

I do two muscles a work out for the fact that I only go 3/4 times a week due to physical labor all day. I own a landscape company and work by myself.

I true to go 4x a week but always 3xs

    Day 1 chest and shoulders
    Day 2 back and legs
    Day 3 biceps and triceps
    Day 4 chest and forearms
    I also do some cardio/swim/jog
And abs usually every time I go but nothing to crazy since i do them more often

You don't need supplements, just make sure you're getting adequate protein

Get on a structured lifting regimen like strong lifts or all pro beginner routine...maybe find something that has you doing total body workout three times a week that incorporates the big compound movements....maybe a four day upper/lower but based on your schedule three day may be better....

100% this. Your issue is probably your programming, don't worry about supplements. If you're lean enough run a a beginners program in a slight surplus to start. If you still have fat to lose, run the program at maintenance or slight deficit.

Protein is key. Make sure you have adequate protein in your system before working out and definitely after.

Research satellite cells and hypertrophy to gain a better understanding of why protein is necessary.

There is no such thing as toning. You have to loose weight and add lean muscle to look aesthetic.

Stronglifts is great because it runs a three times weekly rotation, hitting all compound lifts. You can add your own biceps and triceps twice per week if u want, but not necessary. The key to gaining muscle is to get enough calories, protein, rest, and stay on a structured progressive lifting program.

Keep using creatine monohydrate. Focus on a high protein diet and only supplement with protein powder if you need. Other than that, most other supplements are a waste of money for you now.

Most supplements do not perform as claimed. The evidence on BCAAs is that if you are already eating a high protein diet then they won't help. The studies on them supposedly showing that they are effective compare them solely to sub-optimal protein intake.

What kind of post gym pain are you getting?

You are clearly not open to workout advice but supplements aren't what you need to adjust pain levels: appropriate training, adequate rests, adequate protein and heat/ice/warm-ups and cool-downs / stretches etc

Looking in the wrong places cos bro science

To everyone else who did not answer my question thank you to this user. I appreciate finally getting real and good advice.

Creatine seems to help some people out by providing a little boost (getting 1 to 2 more reps on a heavy set, thus increasing work thus increasing muscle mass), though other than that there is not really any supplement worth mentioning.

Beta Alanine might help when performing longer duration work (that is over 60 seconds of intensity), though most likely not usefull when doing strength training.

Cafeïne is helpfull for alertness and focus. When combined with L-tyrosine your focus might increase even beter.

Citrulline Malate / Agmatine / Arginine are vasodilators. They give you a good pump during your workout, providing the muscles with new nutritions while removing waste products from the blood.

Thats about it on (legal) research proven supplements...

If you want to take creatine, whatever, take it. It's not going to harm you and people say it works.

I'd hit those muscle groups more than once per week tho

The only supplements I take are multi vitamins, fish oils, creatine and protein powder. Are they all necessary ??? No, that is why they are called supplements. They are simply just convenient and a time saver if you are limited on time. Judging by what you wrote, I get the feeling you started working out this year, if so, then you will have to be patient, eat well (high proteins & Fruits + veggies for your vitamins and minerals), do your workouts (But don't always do the same exercises, change them up after 8-12 weeks or else your body will adapt to them), drink lots of water and try to sleep a minimum of 7 hours per day. Rest is very important.

I've been working out for years. I stick to te routines I've learned from weight training classes I took in high scool and college. I was 265lbs and through hard work, dedication and exercise I went from 265 in 2013 to no weighing 180. I've lost a total of 85 pounds. I like all the supplements you stated but I COMPLETELY DISAGREE it's not convieniant to take supplements. They aid in many ways.
Fish oil helps with joint pain - heart health and brain health
Multivitamins supply essential nutrients to your daily life
Creatine retains more water for your muscles to get bigger and for a bigger pump.
I DO AGREE on restful sleep so I use melintonin and alieve and eating healthy! I watch my calorie intake and eat as healthy as I can. I do try to change my work outs but mostly keep it the same with increasing weight week by week.
