Poolside watching my youngest two boys and their cousins swim and apparently functioning as a non-paid lifeguard. There’s a grandma here with six grandchildren - twins she said are not quite 2, a 3 year old, and 3 school age kids. She keeps getting distracted focusing on talking to one kid at a time and turning completely away from the little ones. In the last 15-20 minutes, I’ve already grabbed the 3 year old as she tried to take a flying leap into the diving pool and another mom and I have each now twice plucked up one of the twins from under the water. The teenage lifeguards seem as oblivious as grandma is.0

Your body likely metabolises food quickly, unlike the rest of us. We have a friend from church whom we volunteer at church with, he eats A LOT of junk ... Turns out, he has a fast metabolism and needed to slow down so as to not burn through his energy so quickly. He was a chubby boy too before the Navy, so I suppose it could hit in your 20s.0 -
