Beans and Legumes: good or bad?

Beans are amazing and have huge health benefits (fiber, protein, carbs, minerals and vitamins) they are also super inexpensive! People have issues digesting them often because of high fiber content, the normal american diet doesn't have significant fiber so when you eat beans you are possibly ingesting much more fiber than you are used to.
Some will say that beans make them gassy, if you rinse beans well (to get rid of that "foam" that you'll notice in cans, or when boiling) this can help reduce the gas.

OP, if the beans and legumes don't bother you, and they fit your goals, eat them. Same with soy. Just because they bother some, doesn't make them bad for all.0
