Broncos fan AND a Nebraska fan here! I agree on the college ball!2 -
Yes, college and NFL! As a Bengals fan I am cautiously optimistic for the new season but that usually doesn't work out so well for me, heh.1

A friend posted the question on Facebook: If you could stay in one season from now on, which one would you pick. I said answered autumn because it would always be football season. :-) My first love: High School. Hey, I live in Texas! Second: College. Hook 'em Horns. Third: NFL. Cowboys.4

Love my Hawkeyes & Houston Texans3

I'm excited and not excited at the same time. My team is the 49ers and I'm not excited because the QB isn't very good. I thought he was going to be traded but they kept him. I do believe Gabbert will outshine Kaperneck this year and I look forward to that.2

STEELERS...all the way!2

I think Kap fits better with Chip Kelly's offense. But doubt he gets the chance.3 -

Grew up a Steel Curtain fan. One of my earliest sports memories is the Mean Joe Green Coke commercial.0 -

Lol. Not a bad assessment.0 -

College: Texas Tech, Notre Dame
Pro: Houston Texans
College Final 4: Clemson, Stanford, Bama, and (Houston or Oklahoma)
NFL Super Bowl: Patriots vs. Arizona
I think the winner of the Stanford/Notre Dame game will be in the Final 4. I give the edge to Stanford now, but both teams will be pretty darned good.
It's a long season, so let's get this thing started and see where they end up. Should be fun whoever makes the run.2 -
Solid picks. But doubt Bama gets back there this year. Surprisingly I would go with Houston and Oklahoma. Clemson wins it all.
Not sure about the Pats but don't know who else to pick from the AFC. Lol1 -
I'm excited for Fantasy Football! Being a die hard 9er fan, I don't think they will win anymore games than they did last year. I'm sure I'll watch when they are on each time, but if they are getting blown out, I'll likely change the channel (which should be many times this year).
Everyone talks about how Chip got the Eagles to turn around, but when he came in he had players. We have 2 iffy QB's, a 3rd year running back who may be injury prone, 1 good wide receiver and a defense that will get tired quickly because of all the 3 and outs.

Bama is just so bloody deep and will wear people down.
Houston/OU play each other week 1 in Houston. That will say a lot. If Houston wins and OU runs the table from then on out, I can see it. If Houston loses, their chances are pretty slim.
The NFC is so strong: Carolina, Arizona, Green Bay, Seattle, Minnesota. Anyone who comes out of that bracket will be beat up, giving the edge to the AFC
I'm with you on the AFC. The only team I think has a legit shot to dethrone the Pats may be the Steelers...maybe the Texans/Broncos. All 3 have solid defenses but only the Steelers have a proven QB that can manage the game. But none of them have Bill Belichek.
Regardless, it should be a fun season no matter who gets there.

Great analysis!
But once they stay hitting and folks start getting hurt, ANYTHING can happen!1 -

So my Browns are back in action.
How do you think they will do this year?
I'm thinking we should have gotten our QB in the draft when we had the chance.1 -
