I gave up eating a Flakie my hubby brought to the campfire . I had asked him to get fruit and never knew he had them til we got to the beach. He knew how much I loved them and I couldn't resist til it was in my hand and I thought about how the pleasure would only last a few bites,so I dropped it into his hands!!0

I normally eat what I want within reason. I agree with a lot of people here. My calories are like my bank account... I would LOVE a new wardrobe but it isn't in the budget. There are times where I would LOVE seconds for dinner, or a bigger piece of dessert, but it isn't in my calorie budget sometimes, but I don't deprive myself.
BUT.... the other day my hubby and I were at the mall for 6 hours running shoe shopping so we could walk more, and we kept walking past CINABON, it smelled soooo yummy! It was killing me! By the end of the day I had a fair amount of extra calories in the bank (thanks to all the walking we did) and hubby suggested we grab a mini bun. I looked up the nutritional info on it and I almost died there on the spot! 350 cals for a MINI? 880 for a classic? All I could think of is how long it would take for me to walk those cals off... All of a sudden that CINABON did not seem all that yummy to me anymore.0 -

A 700+ calorie fat and sugar filled ice cream sundae at the pub after our weekly meal. Or any other dessert for that matter. Was tempted as I have a tonne of calories to spare today, but I wasn't really hungry for it and I know I would feel guilty after.0

Didn't have the calories left for Blue Bunny Birthday cake ice cream today...but I will have plenty tomorrow:bigsmile:0

french fries. Instead of getting my son a happy meal (I always eat half of it cause he won't finish it), we came straight home and ate a good lunch.0

A spoonful of chocolate frosting from the bowl in the fridge. I can't say I did the same for the past few days before this. Chocolate frosting mixed with peanut butter is a delicious dip for apples, btw.0

I chose not to mindlessly snack between lunch and dinner while surfing on my laptop on the couch. Chewed gum and drank water instead!:drinker:0

Hawaiian Cookies (shortbread) with a fruit center. I know that they are small and are 90 calories. But, if I eat one I feel tempted to eat more. :P So... I left that alone.0

a regular portion of anything at a family get together, instead I ate a spoonful of all the regulars - potato salad, greek pasta salad, key lime pie, etc....it could have been a disaster but instead I saved up calories from lunch and ended up only 52 over for the day...success!0

Deep fried oreos... frog legs.. and avocado. I did split some funnel cake and an order of steak fries with my friends and our kids. I used to get tummy aches going to the state fair. Not this time.0
