I'm having a hard time even getting up to my calorie limit each day. I get too full. Ideas?

Avoid low fat, diet foods. Add healthy oils. Full fat cheese, nuts, nut butters.

I'm willing to bet you're already eating more than 1200 calories, because 1200 calories is not a hard number to meet, unless you are recovering from anorexia/bulimia etc. It's the absolute minimum daily intake recommended for 99% of the population.

How are you getting your calorie intake? Are you guesstimating or are you using a food scale and accurate database entries?

Have you cut all fats out of your diet? Coz, you don't need to and in fact shouldn't. Add some oils, nuts etc back in. Your body will thank you.

I find that at the very beginning, the first two weeks or so, it's difficult for me to reach my calorie goal. After a couple of weeks, I figure it out and then it's easy to hit my calories. I look at it this way: I GET to eat that much and still lose weight.
